The Primary Objective Of PUWER 98 Is To Ensure That Work Equipment Should Not Result
In Health & Safety Risks,Regardless Of It's Age,Condition Or Origin.
The Regulations Apply To The 'Provision And Use Of All Work Equipment',Including Mobile
And Lifting Equipment. It Applies To All Workplaces And Situations Where The HSW Act Applies.
It Applies To Anyone With Responsibilty Directly Or Indirectly For Work Equipment And It's Use.

Guidance On How To Abide By The Law. Risks To Health & Safety Should Be Assessed Taking
Into Account,Matters Such As The Type Of Equipment,Substances And Electrical Or Mechanical

Regarding The Safe Use Of Work Equipment And Are Trained To Follow Set Safety Precautions,
Especially During Maintenance. Opalrange Try To Ensure That Work Equipment Supplied To Our
Cleaning Staff Is Suitably Designed,Constructed,Adapted For The Actual Work It Is Designed To Do.
We Ensure Where Reasonably Practicable That The Equipment Supplied Is Used According To Any
Manufacturers Instructions. Opalrange Try To Ensure That The Location Where We Use Particular
Equipment Is Used In It's Correct Location. We Try To Ensure That Work Equipment Is Installed,
Located And Used In Such A Way To Reduce Risks To Users Of Work Equipment And For Other Workers.

Reasonable MeasuresTo Reduce The Risks Involved. We Try To Maintain A Safe System Of Work.
We Try To Follow Traffic Rules,Where Appropriate,To Limit The Risks To Pedestrians And Operators
When Mobile Work Equipment Is In Use. We Have A Duty To Provide Information,Instruction,Training
And Supervision Neccessary To Ensure The Health & Safety Of Our Employees.
